Your Bast account

Delete means delete the account—not just this phone.

The release flow is intentionally short: confirm once, Bast removes account-linked server data, then the iPhone clears its local copy.

Release flow

Four clear steps

    Open Settings

    Choose Delete Bast Account.

    Read and confirm

    BastCare explains the scope before anything changes.

    Bast deletes server data

    The authenticated request revokes sessions and removes account-linked data.

  4. 4

    This iPhone clears

    Only after server success, BastCare removes the account’s local app data.

What full deletion covers

  • Bast identity and active sessions
  • Account-linked processing metadata
  • CareTeam memberships and relay access
  • Shared encrypted summary copies and keys linked to the account
  • Provider authorization where supported
  • All BastCare data for the account on this iPhone

May remain

Minimal content-free evidence

  • Aggregate or de-identified model token counts
  • A minimal deletion event proving the request completed
  • Any record the law specifically requires Bast to retain

These retained records must not contain identity, visit words, summaries, notes, credentials, or a link back to the deleted account.
